How are event grades chosen?

Grades A–F compare published backgrounds, costumes, shiny opportunities, rare or high-tier encounters, bonuses, rewards, and the featured Pokémon’s raid and PvP relevance. Meta relevance uses PvPoke league rankings and raid attacker rankings; an eligible evolution counts too. A is a top priority; B is worth planning; C is good if convenient; D has limited announced value; F has few announced reasons to play. “Early” means details are still thin, so the grade may change. Grades describe the opportunity if you can participate; they never guarantee a catch or reward.

  • Published location: Phase 2: Kochi, Matsuyama, Takamatsu, Tokushima, Fukuoka, Saga, Miyazaki, Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Oita, Ishigaki, Miyako and Naha airports, Japan.
  • Phase 2 uses different airports from the Red Jet promotion. No Red Jet pins or airport-center coordinates are substituted for its event Gyms.
