How are event grades chosen?

Grades A–F compare published backgrounds, costumes, shiny opportunities, rare or high-tier encounters, bonuses, rewards, and the featured Pokémon’s raid and PvP relevance. Meta relevance uses PvPoke league rankings and raid attacker rankings; an eligible evolution counts too. A is a top priority; B is worth planning; C is good if convenient; D has limited announced value; F has few announced reasons to play. “Early” means details are still thin, so the grade may change. Grades describe the opportunity if you can participate; they never guarantee a catch or reward.

Best opportunities

  • Wild batik-shirt Pikachu has a chance to be both Shiny and Special Background on the same encounter; neither outcome is guaranteed.
  • Use Incense for more event-themed encounters. Timed Research and snapshots can provide additional batik-shirt Pikachu encounters.

Regional limits

  • This event is published for Indonesia only. The three routing points represent its three local timezones, not guaranteed spawn clusters.

Other encounter methods

  • Timed Research is available September 28 at 6 AM through October 10 at 11:59 PM; claim its separate batik-shirt Pikachu encounter by that deadline.
  • During the October 2 event, take a snapshot of one of your own Pokémon for a possible surprise batik-shirt Pikachu encounter. A snapshot of a wild Pokémon does not count.
