Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using swfljohn.com, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Features that send messages, publish content, or connect another service require an additional affirmative confirmation, which may be recorded with the applicable wording version and timestamp.

2. The service

SWFLJOHN provides Pokémon GO event information, GPX resources, deliberately published numbered inventory, opt-in Discord event alerts, approved notification tools, and private media tools. Features may be changed, paused, limited, or discontinued at any time.

Event, route, availability, valuation, and collection information may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Verify important information with the applicable official source before relying on it.

3. Accounts and access

Some tools require an approved sign-in or membership. You are responsible for safeguarding access issued to you and for activity performed through your access. Do not share passwords, session links, API credentials, or webhook destinations with unauthorized people.

Access may be suspended or removed to protect the service, enforce these terms, comply with law, or address misuse.

You must be at least 13 and meet the minimum age required in your country to use a signed-in feature. You must be at least 18 and legally able to contract before entering any separate transaction. Do not submit information for a child account.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the site to violate law, infringe another person's rights, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, distribute malware, harvest credentials, overload endpoints, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.

You are responsible for complying with the terms and rules of any third-party service you choose to connect to or use alongside SWFLJOHN.

Scopely's current Terms and Player Guidelines can restrict commercial collection, account transfers, and buying, selling, or trading accounts or in-game items. SWFLJOHN cannot waive those rules or authorize conduct that a platform prohibits.

Do not use a custom sender name, avatar, webhook, listing, or submitted content to impersonate another person or business, claim official status, misuse another party's marks, or mislead a recipient about who sent a message. Names such as “Official Pokémon GO,” “Scopely Support,” or “Discord Admin,” and confusingly similar branding, are prohibited without documented authorization.

Some approved private actions can spend in-game resources, change settings or inventory, or permanently transfer items. You confirm that you own or are authorized to control anything you connect and that you have reviewed the configured action. Completed destructive actions may not be reversible.

5. Numbered public inventory

Public account pages use a persistent number stored separately from the private internal label. This is pseudonymous rather than guaranteed anonymous: someone with other information may still recognize a distinctive account or collection. Only the operator can approve or withdraw publication.

A displayed collection, valuation, label, price, availability status, or trade indicator may be a non-binding listing or invitation to inquire. SWFLJOHN does not provide on-site checkout, escrow, or automatic transfer, and a display is not a guarantee that an item or account remains available, is transferable, or is permitted by a third-party platform. Any transaction requires separate agreement between the people involved.

6. Discord event alerts

Discord direct-message alerts are sent only after explicit opt-in. You may pause or unsubscribe at any time. Delivery depends on Discord availability and your Discord privacy settings, so notifications are not guaranteed or a substitute for checking an official event source.

If you connect a Discord server webhook, you confirm that you are authorized to use that webhook and permit SWFLJOHN to post the event alerts you select to its channel. Anyone with access to that channel may see those messages and may be able to infer a local area you selected from the events posted. Treat the webhook URL like a password; you can test, pause, replace, or remove the saved destination from the Discord Alerts page.

Alerts may be delayed, duplicated, incomplete, or unavailable. Pausing alerts affects message delivery only; if a separately priced service is ever offered, its checkout and cancellation terms will state whether pausing delivery affects billing.

7. TikTok media tools

If you connect TikTok, SWFLJOHN may let you upload media as a draft or submit a direct post after you review TikTok's current privacy, interaction, commercial-content, music-use, and AI-content choices. You choose whether to connect and what media to submit. A direct post may become public on TikTok without a separate draft step.

You must have the necessary rights to all media, captions, music, trademarks, likenesses, and other material you submit and must make truthful commercial-content and AI-content disclosures.

TikTok features are also governed by TikTok's own terms, policies, permissions, and availability. You may disconnect TikTok access at any time.

8. Events, locations, and GPX safety

Check official event details, venue hours, tickets, public access, accessibility, weather, route conditions, and local rules before traveling. Do not trespass, enter restricted areas, obstruct traffic, or use a route or device while driving. Coordinates and GPX files can be incomplete or unsuitable for current conditions.

Third-party map links, deep links, companion apps, and gameplay tools are controlled by their providers. Their use may affect your account, device, privacy, or eligibility under another service's rules. SWFLJOHN does not promise that a third-party workflow is permitted by the provider of another service.

9. Your content

You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant SWFLJOHN a limited permission to host, process, format, and transmit that content only as needed to provide the feature you request. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide and use the content in that way.

10. Site materials and third-party marks

The SWFLJOHN name, site design, original text, software, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Pokémon and related names and images belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

SWFLJOHN is an independent community resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Scopely, Scopely Explore, Niantic, The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, Discord, or TikTok. Source credit and a no-affiliation statement do not transfer ownership or grant a license. See Sources & Notices.

11. Third-party services

The site may display information from or link to third-party services. SWFLJOHN does not control their content, availability, security, or privacy practices and is not responsible for actions you take on those services.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law, without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SWFLJOHN and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, access, profits, or opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using public features at any time and may remove user-controlled alert subscriptions from the Alerts page. SWFLJOHN may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, data, connected services, or the site. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and responsibility for prior activity—survive termination.

15. Changes

These terms may be updated as the service changes. The current version will remain available at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting a signed-in or connected feature may require a new affirmative confirmation before that feature is enabled again.

16. General terms

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver. These terms and any feature-specific written terms are the entire agreement concerning the covered service, subject to non-waivable consumer rights.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
